I began painting in 2007 when I commenced classes at Greenhill Community College. My children were growing up and I wanted to do something for myself so that I could get out of the house and mix with my family and friends.

As a child I enjoyed sitting around the campfire and looking up at the stars so I decided to paint this story about the ‘Planets’
