Leo Leeko Wright – Mullet Running – Digital Print on Archival Matte Paper

Dunghutti Artist Leo Leeko Wright says of his work:
“When you hear the mullet running that means the fish are biting. Every man, woman and child goes fishing – rain, hail or sunshine.
They pack themselves along the riverbank – close like sardines – jostling each other to catch perch, bullhead, catfish, eels and turtles.
Kids are playing and the fire is ready for cooking when the fish are caught.”

As always, the Gallery is open 7 days a week from 10.00AM to 4.00PM.
