“This painting represents a placard or poster of the exhibition theme – Always Was, Always Will Be.”

We have recently opened a joint exhibition with Wadjar Regional Indigenous Gallery and the Armidale and Region Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place.
Although Covid-19 restrictions have changed our plans for an official opening, the works are now on display in the gallery.
Here is a taste of what is is on show.
Leo Leeko Wright – Boundaries – Acrylic on canvas 76 x 61cm

The people knew that hunting was only allowed within these boundaries.”
Rex Winston-Walford – Thumbprint – Acrylic on canvas – 120 x 90cm
“This artwork is inspired by my own fingerprint. The unique pattern it creates which is exclusive to me; it plays a large part in my identity as it does with everybody else.”

Lily Clegg – Giidany Baajim – Moon Magic – Acrylic on canvas 60.5 x 30.5 cm
